Everything about the condo was just about perfect. The bed was a little firmer than our preference, but we adjusted to it (and some people may prefer the firmness!) The kitchen allowed us to make two meals a day - saving money and eating healthier! It was quiet in our building across the road from the main building. We only saw a couple of people in the building the entire week we were there, and the only noise was from cars driving by (sometimes with loud music or revving engines.) Nice extras like two beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler. (Also a life-vest, though we didn't need that.) Also a water filter in the fridge was a nice touch.

The place was infested with German cockroaches, and I mean infested. There is only ac in the living room, so the 2nd bedroom was so hot! When we got there all of the towels were in the dryer so we had to fold their laundry before we could even settle. The furniture is old and dirty. The bedsheets were dirty (make up smudge on sheets and hair, so we had to wash the sheets before we could get into bed.
On a positive note, the location is great, the view is amazing, and the hot water is hot.

A fantastic location to stay while visiting the island. Very easy to get in and out of the town to the highways. Has the best tourist shops and restaurants. Multiple beautiful beaches with every water sport you would like to try.
The water is safe and beautiful for snorkeling, swimming or just sitting and watching.

I enjoyed my stay at Kona
I was upgraded to an oceanfront view, which was fabulous even though I didn’t eat at restaurants I prefer cooking my own meals. I had a very relaxed vacation. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, but I do want everyone to know that this place was fabulous.

We loved the island.
We loved the island. The ocean, the colorful flowers, shrubs and trees. We did an amazing all day tour to the coffee farm, the volcano national park, black sand beach, lava tube, water falls and valley. We also did an absolutely stunning tour of the Mauna Kea summit to watch the sunset, star gaze and telescope close ups of the moon, Jupiter and stars clusters. Our Manta Ray tour was cancelled due to bad sea conditions, which I appreciated very much their safety concerns over profits.
It’s a beautiful island with lots of sights to visit and things to do.

Manta Ray Adventures night snorkel was a blast!!!!
Historical harbour cruise was fun and informative.

The coffee was amazing, the food was great (although the restaurants were very crowded). Public parking was hard to come by and paid parking was very expensive. Get a rental car and you are in a good central location to hike, visit the volcano, and from all the shopping and touristy things to do.
The hotel is right on the ocean with wonderful views and very close to all the action in Kona. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and the hotel had all the usual services. There was a fun pool right next to the beach (which is all rocks - though there are a few small beaches nearby), and there are a variety of restaurants and shops right next to the hotel. That said, sound wasn't a problem - the hotel was very quiet. We also found the bed and pillows to be the best we experienced on the island.
What a beautiful location near Kailua-Kona! The pool was a little chilly, but refreshing. There was always parking available. It seemed very quite and tucked away, but close enough to get to everything we needed. The room was very nice with it's own mini-fridge and bathroom, and private lanai that had separate access to the pool area. The fruit picked from on the property was the best!
The staff is exceptionally great and very helpful!
They were courteous and polite.
The beach was clean and the barbque on the beach were very planned by the resort
The pool on the beach was very clean and the building quiet
Lots of car parking spaces
The deli next door is open very comfortable
The travel is easy to international airport
This is such a beautiful place to stay in Kona! The sea is so close and the Hotel with the view is lovely!
The interior is modernized and it’s super clean! We loved the breeze and sleeping with open window close by the sea.
Everything was quite new and the bed fresh and clean!
The staff is very helpful and really nice. Would go again!
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The lobby and reception area were clean and reflected their boutique styling. The hotel was just a short walk from restaurants and shops and the beach where we snorkeled. There is an amenity fee charged daily which seems reasonable if you use them.
Villa was very spacious . . . comfortable and roomy. Lots of space to get some work done. Washing machine and dryer was an unexpected plus. AC was a definite plus since Kailua-Kona was super hot while we were visiting.
The property is showing some age, but the location and views are top notch. This is our 2nd time staying here and would stay again primarily for those reasons. The resort has typically been a good value as well.
The hotel is centrally located in Kone and is adjacent to a jetty protected beach. The Aloali'i Cultural Center on site is a wonderful resource and has some fun classes in Hula, cultural tours and Lei making.
It was very good and had a kitchen with tools, at a cheaper rate than hotels near it. It is close to many destinations and has an exceptional view point towards the sea.
Hotel has excellent location, next to the pier form where many boat tours are departing. Staff was friendly and all issues were quickly resolved. Breakfast was decent.
We love staying at this hotel with a very good style - brand new boutique hotel. The location was great with a beautiful view of the ocean and the staff was very nice
Food was not served at the Hotel. Beach supplies were available for the guests. The hotel was within walking distance to several beaches, shops, and restaurants.
The outdoor pool area was amazing. The resort views were amazing. The hotel room was very spacious and comfortable. Staff were very very lovely and helpful.
